WARHEAD Records recording artist Lee Roy Mercer, of Bristol, TN and prank call FAME went home to be with his Lord. He served in the US Army from January 1968 until January 1971, receiving an honorable discharge at the rank of SpE4.
Lee Roy's sudden passing was an overwhelming shock to everyone around him. I didn't receive the dark news until Sunday afternoon while spending some leisure time with my family. I'll post more information as I receive it.
I am asking all of Lee Roy's fans and friends to please send out their blessings and prayers to the family in this dark and tragic time of loss.
The world of Comedy will never be the same.
